I started looking at textures one at a time and comparing them with other textures from other packs. Unless there is a modder out there that knows a way to optimize rendering somehow. Wow, thanks everyone Just dont go over OCD on them. Oblivion has more gameplay overhauls to choose from. There are plenty of overhaul guides for Oblivion out there but I have found them to be very intrusive and time consuming to install. For the best possible visuals, refer to Bevilex' Modlist. Follow the instructions below for a simple non-invasive overhaul. It revamps the colors and adds stunning effects to achieve a more crisp and immersive world.
SIMPLE OBLIVION GRAPHICS OVERHAUL MOD
I'm afraid (as far as I know) there is no real way to guarantee permanent improvement without doing an overhaul of one mechanic or another in the base game itself. The big different between OB and MW is that for MW there's a TON of graphics overhauls to choose from, and the Morrowind Overhaul does a great job of compiling all the most lore-friendly graphics replacers for those who want to stick close to the lore. Oblivion: Graphics and Gameplay Overhaul. Vivid Weathers is an in-depth graphics mod for Skyrim that completely overhauls the visuals of the weather. **though a cpl packs have had perfect custom assets and still had low res. Some packs haven't had this issue probably due to whatever they happen to add as custom dynamic items. It's basically every dynamic block that can be down-graded. I've tried lowering the graphic settings for textures all the way to low, quitting out, and then restarting and going back up to high, but the vanilla textures still look horrific. Seem to only run into this issue with this modpack/overhaul.

Everything that has been added in looks amazing but anything that is vanilla just looks like out of focus blobs. Are the normal in game textures supposed to take a hit graphically? Seems like they are extremely low quality and if you didn't know what they were from playing, you'd have no chance of reading them.
